‘Gilligan’s Island’ Star Dawn Wells Dies Of COVID-19

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Actress Dawn Wells, best known for playing Mary Ann on the hit sitcom “Gilligan’s Island,” has died at the age of 82 after becoming infected with COVID-19.

When I watch old movies or reruns - so many of the familiar faces are gone.

We kind of grew up with them in our lives. Besides the main stars, there were so many character actors that showed up in sitcoms, westerns, cop shows, etc.

There are some absolutely hot women you probably need to steer clear of.

Mary Ann was the gal you might have a chance at, and she would have a good head on her shoulders. She was the one living next door to you, when you came home on leave, would see her and think “Wow! She grew up...she isn’t that scrawny, irritating girl next door anymore!”
