YOU said there are “PLENTY” of young people dying and cite a FEW cases that you “heard” about. I ask for some DATA and you tell me to get over myself and look it up myself. How long have you been a Liberal Democrat? I ask because you come off like your typical opinionated know-it-all Leftist. Why are you trolling a Conservative site?

Me a liberal democrat? I'm slightly to the right of Attila the Hun.

You're a complete fool, go suck you thumb in your mother's basement corner.

In this case I just gave them BHT in oil mixed in such a fashion that one tsp would provide approx. 450 MG of BHT. BHT as such to my knowledge is not an ionophore, it just kills the virus on its own.

THANK YOU for helping me win my bet!

I bet a few of my FR friends that if I challenged your lame ass response you would do 3 things:

1. Provide NO Data on your claim
2. Claim to be a Super Conservative
3. Take a shot at me personally

You rang the bell 3 times! SO predictable.

BTW, my 89 year old mother passed from COVID 4/22/2020. Killed by Governor Tom Wolf.

Now Please crawl back under your rock with all the other pretend Conservatives trolling FR.

You have, by voicing your thoughts of him and how you feel about the circumstances of his demise hase Honored him and his memory.

There is nothing finer nor more respectful than what you have shared about him here.

As in all of life’s journeys, it is you that gives voice and honored that person.

Your acquaintance knows he was not alone, nor has been forgotten.

Deepest respects and condolences to his family and friends.

Intensive care units are designed in hospitals to be used at high occupancy rates with just enough space to allow for admissions where needed. That is media BS "The units are overflowing". I have no doubt there are many institutions that are feeling the pain.

A hospital that has ICU beds that are not occupied at high rates is not being run correctly. You think a hospital is going to staff an ICU with the highest paid and most skilled nurses, equip it with the most sophisticated equipment, and allow it to operate at 50% capacity? Yes, health care workers are hard pressed, but you know why? Because apart from the grind of having fewer available workers, and those that are available have an overhead load placed on them by more involved processes to safeguard patients from infection or protect their workers from infection, health care organizations are losing money hand over fist, that is why.

In your view, the government will bail them out. With what? The federal printing press?

You wrote: I also reject the premise that small businesses will necessarily be bankrupted. Government can step in and provide a lifeline. You don't believe small businesses will necessarily be bankrupted? What planet do you live on? In what world will a restaurant or gym be able to get money they need to pay rent and employees if they can't bring in customers? In your world, you think their renters are just going to pat them on the shoulder and say "Don't worry, pay when you can."? You think employees who can't work are just going to sit around and wait until it all blows over and then happily return when the restaurant magically is able to be reconstituted and spring back to life?

Government can step in and provide a lifeline? Really? With what? A few more trillion dollars? Borrowed from China? Pumped out from a federal printing press?

And the workers? Oh, the government will step in and help them too? With $600 checks? Great. Pretty soon, with your trillion dollar bailouts, that $600 might buy them a movie ticket or a cup of coffee. That one statement about the government stepping in to help proves that you are either operating at an emotional and irrational level (what you accuse others of) or that you are no conservative.

What we think we know is dwarfed by what we don’t know.

That is a key cleavage point between Leftists and conservatives.

Leftists think they have all the answers, which is why they believe they can run an economy using socialist principles rather than capitalist free market principles.

And it is why they always fail when they try, they lack introspection and humility.

I try to avoid a conspiratorial mindset, but that is sometimes difficult to do when economics and logic clearly point in one direction, but official action goes in the other.

Granted, we do live in a litigious society, and it is always possible that someone will be harmed by an off-label use of a substance.

But you would think that if the health problem was as serious as they maintain, that they would examine and exercise any and all reasonable options.

Neither I, nor you, have historical data for average ICU occupancy. But what we do know is that presently many hospitals are at 100%, which is unprecedently high. And many hospitals have made makeshift ICU beds in tents, and they are also full.

One of my cousins just finished her residency in a badly-hit state. They had her in the Corona ward. In anticipation of the surge, they canceled all elective surgeries and emptied out a whole floor. When they could admit patients, they were mostly saving them. But within three weeks, the whole floor was full, as was the makeshift ICU tent in the parking lot.

Once the system was overwhelmed, it just became a slaughter.

A close personal friend of mine, in his 50s, sang the same tune as you. Then he got Coivd, was admitted to the hospital and put on oxygen. He needed an ICU bed. But none were available. He will pull through. But now he wants to vote Democrat.

The “healthcare organizations are losing money” story is actually the opposite of what other “Covid is a hoax” gang parroted. Earlier, they were saying “hospitals are misapplying deaths to Covid to collect extra money.”

The fact is, hospital are collecting funds and doing well. If the patients are ex-military, over 65, or poor, taxpayers pay the treatment costs. And generously.

It is possible that some private health insurers will become insolvent. But not the hospital.

I don’t know where you get the conclusion that healthcare workers are stressed because healthcare organizations are losing money.

The impression I get is that you simply don’t know what you are talking about, you have made up your mind, and you don’t want to listen to facts.

This is a once in a century calamity, and I would support inflating the money supply to keep businesses alive.

Not anything against you.

I want an informal rule that any mention of an elected official in a thread headline should have the political affiliation mentioned.

Impossible to remember all the governors and representatives on a state and national level who are objecting to the vote totals or placing a lockdown on people or supporting or opposing a bill or a candidate.

We all look it up, I suspect.

As I said, not an attack on you, Meatspace. We see the threads every day.

D + C + zinc + ionophore are minimum 90% effective, more like 95-98%, possibly 99% if given early.
IOW, as good or better than the inoculation (not a vaccine), and easily capable of lowering the R0 to 0.3 or below.

I would support getting the government the heck out of the way and letting people make their own choices whether to open and which businesses to patronize. That would solve the problem with no need for stimulus bail outs or the like

The death rate in Franklin County (Columbus) Ohio, has been running at well under 0.1% for two months running. Typical week: 6400 new positive tests (1.2 million population), 2 deaths. Multiple weeks with zero deaths. It’s curable without an inoculation when the ill receive the best care, instead of the prevalent standard of care in these united states.
Vermont is an example of an entire state with few deaths for the population. In April-June, Texas and Tennessee had very few deaths listed, but they caught up to the national average. Information, not propaganda, is the key.

Yes.

Because we all know viral replication and mortality rates both go down to zero as soon as people are free to choose to interact at will.

Nope. the infection rates will stay the same because we also know that viral replication and mortality rates are changed not one whit by mask orders and lockdowns. In fact some of the areas with the most draconian limitations have the highest infection and mortality rates

I have worked in health care for nearly 40 years, so I know what I am talking about more than some ignorant ass who hears it second hand from friends.

I do have historical knowledge of ICU occupancy rates, or at least what hospitals strive for. You don’t know that, which is not surprising for someone who doesn’t work in medicine, but your ignorance spreads into every other aspect of your emotion-filled grasp of a complex issue.

The simple fact that you cannot even understand that healthcare organizations could be (and are) losing money and also misapplying COVID deaths for higher reimbursement at the same time shows your capacity to apply logic is no better than your characterizing Fresno County as “conservative” because one well known Republican happens to hold office there.

Which is exactly what you did in your post. I pointed out the flaw in that premise, but you want to gloss over that flaw in your fundamental premise because you are more interested in characterizing conservatives as murdering their fellow Americans at a 2—5 times rate. Who even let you post that filthy crap on Free Republic, even if you did give money to Jim Robinson, which I sincerely doubt you did. Gee, who made up their minds here and doesn’t want to listen to the facts?

I can see you have an issue with reading comprehension.

Show me where I said the COVID virus was a hoax. You can’t, because I never said it. I said quite the contrary.

Show me where I said that hospitals were mischaracterizing deaths as COVID deaths in order to get increased reimbursement. You can’t, because I never said it.

And because I never said it, it doesn’t mean that someplace, somewhere is indeed doing it, but I don’t have any first hand knowledge of that and would never accuse an organization of that without proof. A reputable, law abiding organization wouldn’t do that because it is fraud. But you don’t understand first that it constitutes Medicare fraud, or that government policy may be written so sloppily or broadly that there are organizations who will take that into account and try to exploit it.

So, you are one of those embracing leftist tactics who like to categorize everyone who has valid issues with the handling of this at a Federal, State, and Local levels as a “COVID is a hoax crowd” and is murdering their fellow Americans at a 2-5% greater rate clearly demonstrates you don’t have the capacity to carry on civil discourse.

Yes, I think we have your measure pretty well.
