Did they ever try locating some of those who "moved to oust" others, dragging them out back, beating the crap out of them, and leaving them in a bad part of Ithaca to walk back to campus?

I think the whole momentum to "oust" others would fade away pretty quickly. It's always a couple of instigators who are behind the whole thing.
