Let me start with a caveat, I have no automatic belief of anything that comes out of the FIB. With that said....
The property in question from Google Street View is interesting. Looks to be a neighborhood of duplexes. The property in question is the only one with a fence around it, and the fence and the front door have No Trespassing signs plastered all over it. Also looks to have a security camera mounted on the front. Whether this is the perp or not, whoever lived there certainly had an interest in protecting his privacy and keeping people away.
I know and/or am aware of people like that. Some are nuts, and some are good dudes that have completely lost faith in our government and people in general. This guy may be either one.
I'm still waiting to find out an agenda on this. Just like the LV shooting...if it doesn't fit an agenda, probably aren't going to find out about it.
I’m beginning to think that others on this thread are correct - an emotionally/mentally deranged person, perhaps down on his luck, who went down with the explosion.
I know that many people here love to denigrate the FBI for their occasional failures and the transgressions of those in their upper echelons. But the lower-level technical pros do a very, very good job, probably unsurpassed in the world - like most of our front-line LEOs.
The Google Street View pics of the camper match the pics of the camper before the explosion.
