If there is multiple strains already, the vaccine is absolutely worthless.

You obviously don’t understand science. The two approved vaccines target the spike protein that allow the virus to invade the ACE2 cell receptors. Those spike proteins have not changed nor mutated the vaccines will still work, and since SARS I and MERS both have nearly identical spike proteins the vaccines will also work for those. The Modera version was created days after the DNA was released back in March why? Because there already was a SARS I vaccine and they just adjusted it to target the proteins of the SARS II COVID strain. In fact all 30 coronavirus share the same spike proteins so in theory the two approved vaccines would also prevent coronavirus based colds too. But given that coronavirus based colds are less than 20% of the total of all colds the effect will be minimal most “colds” are rhinovirus
