Trump called out $3.3B in pork. He should remind taxpayers that the last stimulus check gave the taxpayers $0.20 per day while each member of congress took home over $450 per day.
I’m not in favor of spending our great-grandchildren’s money for any purpose, but I’ll make an exception for China virus relief for those most affected, but, I heard Rush Limbaugh read what’s in the bill, almost 80% of which has nothing to do with China virus relief. If Trump does not veto this bill, he loses my support. (I’m sure that has him quaking in his boots.)

Totally agree. Mr.GG2 and I were saying the same thing last night. If they are going to spend all that money itshould go to families and small business. I saw a lot of money going to Microsoft, Amazon, Google and other giants who are well equipped to sustain hard times. They don’t need a boost.
Sever the legislation into two separate bills. Do a straight 10% sequestration across the board of the continuing resolution. Increase COVID relief 25% across the board. All deals will still be in place. We avoid a nasty override. We gain steam in Georgia.

Are people conflating the Covid bill and the omnibus? My understanding is that the pork is in the omnibus, not the Covid bill. If that’s the case, why is Trump grandstanding and holding up Covid relief?
This strikes me as agreeing with Pelosi and stabbing Repubs in the back. Mnuchin negotiated this bill with Trumps blessing now he wants to blow it up and in the process sink Loeffler and Perdue in the GA runoff.
