I was one of those horrible people that traveled for Thanksgiving. For reasons of seeking the best priced tickets, not for reasons of avoiding airplane crowds, I traveled two weeks before Thanksgiving and two weeks after Thanksgiving - by plane with one stop in between both ways.

The one thing that has not changed is that food purchased in an airport is among the most expensive food you can buy when considering what you get for your money.
And, the food I got at the Newark airport made me sick within 24 hours. Had to get out the pepto by bedtime the day I ate it.
