Which still puts him light years ahead of most of our politicians. I don’t always agree with him, and I have noticed the same thing, that sometimes he shrinks when he should be standing tall. But, he will on occasion stand tall and do himself proud.
Heck, even President Trump will sometimes make me shake my head. I’ll take a Donald Trump or Rand Paul over 99.9% of the rest of them.
I don’t think anything has been announced, but his main campaign theme was to support and work with President Trump. He should join with Brooks.
I hope he’s independent enough to resist the pressure that Mitch and others will put on him. Being an SEC football is a pretty high pressure job so he’s been in pressure situations before.
They may have to lay low and talk nice until January to avoid getting assassinated.
He’s bowed to Mitch before in controversial situations. This one just happens to involve the fate of the nation.

Tommy Tuberville is the newly elected senator from Alabama, so he hasn’t dealt with Mitch in the Senate yet.

All should understand January 6 there will be a Joint Session of Congress, both House and Senate, with VP Pence presiding as Senate President who will open the Elector envelopes. If there is at least one written letter from the House AND at least one written letter from the Senate, letters objecting to Electors, then Congress must deliberate for two hours and then hold a vote. Therefore we need at least one US Senator to write that letter!
I’m hoping Rand will run for president in 2024. I’ll vote for him if he does.

It’s being delayed as the old intel cast of “Russia, Russia, Russia” is trying to take a stand for their old bosses expected back early next year.
They don’t want to get out of the way of the big dog, the ChiComs.
