“We’re not finished,” he concluded. "Believe me.”

Of course not. There are texts to send, emails to mail, and money to collect. Nearly 6 weeks and we couldn't figure out some kind of simple snafu to get the case heard?

I applaud the Trump team for efforts similar to what the left did when Trump won, but come on already. They were way more effective than us. We look like the JV squad.

At this point of the game, either lead the blowing up of the system in some way or concede and plot for the future. Really that was the choice Election week and I can not determine now whether we have helped the cause very much if they choose the latter. Let's face it, for the most part we have been asked to walk the plank. We have run out of board.

We could sue and sue and sue, delay, ask for delays, all the livelong day, and at the end of the day, two end states result. Either Biden is sworn in on 20 January 2021 based on the Electoral College, or, due to the delays and the uncertainty and continuing challenges, Nancy Pelosi will be sworn in as President on that day. Choices, choices. I suppose.

Not to argue semantics, but this would be a true civil war. The previous was misnamed as a civil war as it was region against region. In this case, it will be truly neighbor against neighbor, political strongholds in cities for either side under siege. With China acting as France did funding the opposition. What country will support the other side?

In the 1860’s the USA was not the global economic engine it is today. If we get into a protracted internal conflict, it could usher in a New Dark Ages world wide. The ramifications will be far, wide and through many generations. We need to win this now.

How can an experienced tactician, who took the lessons of the Al Capone takedown to the next level in the 80s and who excelled in New York, hone in on the good stuff if we keep cheering on the scattergun approach and endorsing stuff that’s fine for social media but shouldn’t go within a mile of a serious court action?

The answer to that long question COULD be that what happened is exactly what was intended. What else could be the answer?

Why can’t we use intimidation. Sure they will run around saying he threatened me but it falls on deaf ears. Push back.

Then there’s the anti Rudys

He was talking about the case brought to the court by Ken Paxton with Ted Cruz who previously won 9 cases before the Supreme Court

Like at the bridge with the nasty troll, “Let ME try, this is easy”. “what’s your favorite color?” “Blue!, no, no red! Aaahhrhh”

Wow. Just imagine alone the transportation and relocation costs for hundreds of thousands of US military/families from bases within the new Confederate States of America, military going back to states located in the remaining United States of America, and furthermore that those states would no longer have the Johnson Space Center,
Kennedy Space Center, and any other number of US federal facilities. Further, outside of maybe Slovenia, Brazil and Russia, oh maybe Eretria and Lesotho, I cannot see any foreign countries diplomatically recognizing such a breakaway or negotiating any trade agreements. All air traffic control towers from Orlando to Houston to Nashville would have be shut down as federal FAA authorities and DHS guarding the airports would also have to leave the new nation. Yeah. This will work out just fine.

No driver’s license will get you across any Customs, Immigration and Quarantine border of any standing nation on the face of the earth, at least not a single one of the 25 or so I have visited. Good luck with a Texas Drivers License trying to enter Japan or UK or Australia, LoL. Plus a citizen of this new “nation” would also have his/her US passport invalidated.

Oh, well, “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood was catchy as long as it lasted. It could no longer be sung at MAGA rallies, nor would/could/should an American Flag ever appear at any such gathering. But, if that’s what people want.

People ought to back off from Rudy. He has a pretty good track record on this since right after election day. I think it was 53 legal losses now, to one case. Not bad. Not bad.

TonyM,

Two of the nine Justices felt it had standing.....

A lot of the State AG’s believed there was a shot but also knew there was a strong chance it would be rejected.....

Guliani didn’t bring this suit.....

His job is as an advocate for the President which is always to present the “sunny-side”.....

If you could have asked him off-the-record he would have told you it only had a slim chance.

A case like this takes years of preparation, investigations, depositions, testimony, and hearings to present. Guliani had 4 weeks...

Some of what Guliani has done is throwing thinly prepared suits to different courts as both a political and somewhat veiled legal strategy to get traction in both places.

A fair criticism of Guliani is that his public persona as a PR strategist is not the best. But in the courtroom, he is well respected.

Understand your frustration but your assessment of Guliani is way off, also note he has a staff of many attorneys and law clerks working this closely with him.

Also remember, the President has full confidence in him and could have easily removed him at any time. Donald Trump will fire anyone if he believes they aren’t effective at the drop of a hat. He has no allegiances for inefficiencies...

“We’re at war, folks. The supreme court is not going to fight our battles for us.”

Ugh bouuy

The USSC, like every one of those...people in legislative and lower court seats have sworn to uphold the constitution so that we, whom tgey work for, do not have to go to war

If they’re not up to it, if their families wimp out, then they’re not up to it and the country will falter. Or they should let Simone else have the position

I can tell you my family certainly is not up to a post constitutional tyranny.

Power-hungry Democraps have mastered the dubious art of dividing people based on "identity."
They take advantage of people's physical attributes to amass votes to feed their power-madness.

Today, as always, Democraps are thumbing their noses at the rest of us simply b/c we look like Americans.

Whatever happened to the noble concept of a "United States?"
