"However, if Texas were able to actually secede, Austin would likely secede from Texas and seek to join California. "

Interesting thought. I wasn't aware that cities can secede from the state they're in?

I wonder if POTUS will appear and speak at the DC rally today?...... :)

POTUS should have a 2 hour video made showing the highlights of the state fraud hearings. Play it over the Emergency Broadcasting System for 24 hours. Make people aware of what has been going on. Then he should take further action.

Keep your spirits up, Freepers...

They'd be higher if someone other than Giuliani was running the show. His record to date isn't anything to write home about.

So we know that 66K underage voters are out there. Whoever found that info should release the names and let us, the public, help track them down and see if they actually voted. Make the action known far and wide so the kids who did vote will come forward and state who they voted for. And who told them to vote.

Ummm...Rudy had nothing to do with the TX suit.

OTH, if you are going to file get to filing. I am thinking it should have already been done to get the process started.

I wouldn’t even let Rudy represent me in court for a traffic violation even pro-bono. He is missing too many brain cells. Theres no excuse for not knowing it would not have standing. Newsmax and other sites knew it. He wasted valuble time for nothing. Mr. President please find someone smarter than Rudy, heck a wino or crack head off the street would probably do better.
**********************************************************************************
This case was not filed by Rudy it was filed by the Texas AG-Paxton. The President joined the suit and that was filed by John Eastman-not Rudy.

If they’d just bring the case on the length of time the Election lasts they’d likely win - last time (1997), it was a 9-0 for lasting one day no more.

Remember how for decades we’d be angry if a crime was thrown out on a technicality, for example misreading a criminal’s Miranda rights? Now, with the FBI and others on the dark side, we embrace our rights, such as refusing to let a cop search our car because we have nothing to hide.

The Supreme Court decision is something like this. The case was not denied on merit, but a technicality perhaps because the electors have not yet formally been chosen, so the injury is not yet done. Please listen to this woman’s take. It is 9 minutes long, more of a pep talk than legal explanations. Gen. Flynn and others
linked to this:

https://twitter.com/tracybeanz/status/1337548142196129792

Both rudders and propellers are still in the water. State hearings continue...yes, they are corrupt, reps are threatened, cowards...but legal avenues continue. This was not the final legal venue.

Of course we know there will be violence at some point no matter what. But even if the legal aspects don’t gain ground, there are immense national security issues with China involvement that can invalidate the election. Powell, Wood, Giuliani, Flynn, et al know things we’re not privvy to. Sit tight and pray but clean your firearms. God has granted us victories many times before, this SC refusal is not even the battle to have pinned our hopes on. It’s like a rain cloud suddenly appearing over a parched land, but dissipating before condensing to rain. A week ago we didn’t even KNOW about this suit...it came up by outside parties, not the President’s legal team. It may embolden the next reps that may need to put their name on suits after electors have been chosen. Or maybe reps will courageously select the right electors.

If you have loved ones that need to be talked off the ledge, please help them know that there are alternatives. The SC conservatives have not abandoned us.

Re: "I wonder if SCOTUS would grant injunctive relief to the federal government and halt all secession?"

That sounds possible.

The Constitutional power of the Executive Branch and Congress against a peaceful state secession is not something I have ever read about.

The Civil War began when South Carolina violently attacked federal troops.

I have often wondered what Lincoln would have done if the South had used only passive or purely defensive methods.

With their economy still functioning, the South could have maintained a low grade guerrilla conflict for decades.

The North's political resolve would have eventually crumbled against the never ending cost in Northern lives and treasure.

Does anyone know if the Constitution makes any direct reference to a state peacefully leaving the Union?

I did word searches for Secede and Secession - neither appear in the document.

I also searched for Union and State - many references, but none specifically address the issue of a state peacefully leaving the Union.

In the future the GOP or whatever rt-wing party exists will have to keep electoral vetting crews on staff to take care of bad voting rolls and other fraud prior to election day. They can contest all of this junk before the election begins.

Should he suspend the US Constitution as well? Should he declare he will serve another term, and then he will serve as many terms as he so desires, based on the martial law? Clarification?

Powell “I would warn any state right now that thinks they’re
going to certify this election to re-think it VERY SERIOUSLY,
because what they’re certifying is their own fraud, and their own complicity in fraud.”

What violence are you advocating? What form should it take? When and where will it start? Who is to organize? Are you doing anything specific? Taking any actions, or planning on any actions? Please clarify for us here in open forum.

Keep in mind Dr Shiva’s case;

https://twitter.com/va_shiva/status/1337549060853665793

Although SCOTUS minutes ago rejected TEXAS complaint, People
of America still have my lawsuit in MA, which remains the ONLY
complaint focusing on the REAL CRIME SCENE of #ElectionFraud:
COMPUTER ALGORITHMS that flip votes to deny you “ONE PERSON, ONE VOTE.”

So - who then has standing? Could a large group of hundreds or even thousands of voters in each of these states file against their own state because changing the rules opened the door to massive outright fraud? Would they have standing?
