Youre right and that’s my point. he didn’t talk that way in 2016. He talked about MORE federal spending not less - a trillion dollars on infrastructure. Blue collar voters like that kind of talk. In contrast, rhetoric about the evils of socialism doesn’t carry very far in regions like the rust belt that have been stripped of factories and jobs so many people are relying on food stamps.
But the People want socialism. They also want nationalism.
