Trump did condemn socialism over and over again. He said this country will never be socialist

But the People want socialism. They also want nationalism.

They want nationalism and a government that helps people out, including with infrastructure, protection of industries, and safety net for old age (Social Security) and sickness if needed.

They don’t want real socialism - government takeover of private businesses. But that’s not even on the table.
