It’s down to the Executive Branch

Correct. I suspect President Trump and his attorneys will keep fighting. Even after the electoral college declares Biden the winner. Even after no more courts will even hear his case.

But soon, and very soon President Trump will concede. What choice does he have? Will he invoke the Insurrection Act? Martial Law?

Doubtful.

As I stated some days ago, President Trump has two choices.

• Accept the outcome (and quite likely spend the rest of his life in prison/exile) or,

• Declare martial law.

That's it. Those are the choices.
