If everybody had been paying attention in 2016, Fox was showing it’s Swampy stripes then.
“war room is the place to be”
I love War Room, and I love Steve Bannon. I’m watching his program this very minute.
Seconded.
I can handle Steve B. with doses now and then.
Steve Bannon is unwatchable because he looks so DIRTY and UNKEMPT!
I’m hopeful given their youth.
And Liz Wheeler in the afternoon. Terrific.
Great read. Since FOX ill do none of the suggestions Newsmax has to either add more talent t their night time line up (repeats, no matter how good, will lose audience) or Trump will need to start a network.
I will be called a globalist communist stooge but here goes.
I watch Fox and Friends. The show leans conservative.
I began a search for 6:00 evening news. I watched OAN and then NewsMax. NewsMax is superior and not bad.
Somehow, I was directed to Lou Dobbs on Fox Business at 5:00. He is decidedly proTrump in everything he presents. His show is superior to OAN or NewsMax. His presentations have much greater depth.
Then by accident, I began watching the Fox Business 6:00 presentation. It is still under review but also has greater depth than NewsMax and is conservatively biased. It is good.
I have no comment on other Fox presenters and don’t watch them.
I considered OAN superficial. News Max is better but still lacks depth;
So just listen?!
“FOX is only following the money and doing what’s most profitable for their investors.”
NO, they are not. No one tells investors they will collapse 50% of their viewership as Fox’s audiences have declined. NO one.
They are playing into their personal politics of liberalism, the company be damned.
Fascinates me that people believe advertising revenue isn’t dependent on sales.
It’s an idiotic assertion on it’s face but sheep swallow it so they don’t have to face unpleasant facts.
“He who pays the piper calls the tune.”
Not some fantastical ideologue. LOL!
I worked heavily in telecommunications and advertising, even as CIO of a first online broadcast company. It is sad how gullible corporate execs can be listening to sales people tell them how much money they’ll make on advertising when the numbers are cooked and don’t add up. Some people make money on ads, definitely, but most lose money on it.
Fox has investors, but unless the ad revenue doesn’t follow their downturn in viewers those investors will be furious.
Fox News? Oh yeah, I used to watch them. Don’t miss them a bit.
Appreciate your info.
If you’re still in the biz you know it’s a new game now with all the specific targeting info from internet advertising.
Yeah, execs will swallow anything, but money talks, And money is sales - not viewers.
Half as many viewers who are twice as susceptible are profitable. And less expensive to provide.
AI rules the TV waves. Same thing that destroyed Drudge.
It’s not ideology, it’s money.
M<o pay, no play.
Love the old vids of TV shows trying out for advertisers!
“No pay, no play!”
Yep. Half the viewers but a more targeted audience can generate more revenue.
Well, that’s exactly the claim that you disagreed with, I believe.
Advertising is based on sales, not viewers.
Us conservative tightwads have no attraction for advertisers!
Viewers that will swallow Dem lies are viewers that will swallow advertisers’ lies.
The problem is that a loss of 50% of Fox’s viewers is measurable as to whom they lost. I do know of the loss in revenue of those advertisers based on reported revenues show the 50% viewer loss is devastating to them. I also work intimately with private equity financials.
