If they refuse this one, the coming implosion of the Republic will be solely due to their refusal to uphold the Constitution while tacitly approving tyranny, history will look very poorly on them ....
I am thinking they refuse the PA. suit BECAUSE this suit covers ALL of the issues AND in multiple states they are killing all birds with ONE STONE!!!
The SCOTUS itself is on the line if this ballot thievery is allowed to stand. The Democrats have made it clear that they will dilute the court. The idiots. The SCOTUS will not slit its own throat. They will not destroy themselves.
They asked for a response from PA BEFORE the Texas suit was filed. Looks like after reading the Texas suit they decided to go ahead and deny hearing the PA suit in favor of hearing the Texas suit that incorporates the same issues, only includes more states.
It turns out that the PA lawsuit is not dead. SC just refused the emergency injunction or something like that.
They only refused to grant the injunction: they have not ruled on the merits.
I am of the opinion that the Justices declined to here the Pennsylvania case because the Texas case will resolve the issue of who won the Presidency without have to address the massive fraud.
All they have to do is rule that invalid votes must be rejected because they weren’t submitted in compliance with the law and/or send it to the state legislatures to decide. Either way, Trump wins.
I also think the Democrat threat to pack the Court is on the minds of at least the six Justices who agreed to hear the case. They like their little club the way it is.
That would mean a Constitutional Crisis.....when a problem or conflict in the function of a government that the political constitution or other fundamental governing law is perceived to be unable to resolve.
For example:..... a government may want to pass a law contrary to its constitution; the constitution may fail to provide a clear answer for a specific situation; the constitution may be clear but it may be politically infeasible to follow it; the government institutions themselves may falter or fail to live up to what the law prescribes them to be; or officials in the government may justify avoiding dealing with a serious problem based on narrow interpretations of the law.
Politically, a constitutional crisis can lead to administrative paralysis and eventual collapse of the government, the loss of political legitimacy, or to civil war.
Not only history; some very angry patriots will do so, as well.
The PA vs. Kelly et al. case was complex, not an easy case -- a messy statute vs. amendment vector. This Texas case seems simpler/cleaner, even though there are multiple defendants -- Laws exist. Laws were not followed, altered by non-qualified agents.
The real challenge is how to "remedy". I can think of one approach:
Another might be to roll back the clock to Nov 3rd, 8pm and use those totals. Done.
States are lining up. CW II may become hot. Texas is definitely sending a message. SC MUST uphold the Constitution or there is going to be a bigger mess on their hands than a bunch of antifa and snowflake rioters.
“If they refuse this one, the coming implosion of the Republic will be solely due to their refusal to uphold the Constitution while tacitly approving tyranny, history will look very poorly on them .... “
It’s a pretty thought.
But the media controls what “history” will say or not say.
And the Justices all know this.
The PA vote was 8 to 0. I would not be too surprised that a similar vote might happen to NOT deal with the Texas issue.
