The vaccine may have been designed in January 2020, but it had neither been formulated, tested in animals, produced in quantities sufficient for clinical trials, received the go-ahead from the FDA for clinical trials, undergone Phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical trials, etc. etc.
In other words, this “New York Magazine” article is pure BS, as usual!!!! PHOOEY!!!!
I fully agree. This article is crap.
Remember how we dropped an atomic bomb in WW2? Way before we had finished testing it, or determined the side effects. IN fact, the 2nd bomb we dropped was much better than the first.
But it was a war, and in a war, you don’t wait for everything to be verified, you use what you got and take risks.
If COVID was really a crisis, we should have treated it that way. But instead, we decided that we should destroy people’s lives, and use normal processes to test our vaccines.
