In 1965, I and two other Americans from our 1964 BSA Jamboree in Valley Forge, attended a 2-week BSA Jamboree in South Wales; then we traveled to Scotland, Ireland, London, Liverpool (went to The Carvern where the Beatles played and found fame on Ed Sullivan Show), Carnaby St etc, and flew back to Newark on Lufthansa. We were Eagle Scouts and just 14. It was quite an adventure.
