I heard about it the next morning when I heard it on the news. Was working the day it happened, then did some studying, so I was out of the loop on that news...
I don’t even remember when Lennon was killed. Although I loved the Beatles, I wasn’t that tuned in to any one of them. I bought their first album in high school — then Dad smashed it with a hammer. Sinful, y’know. :(
