Sen. Rick Scott: Trump's Florida election victory has important lesson for Republicans nationwide
Fox News ^ | December 4, 2020 | Rick Scott |

Republicans have built a multi-ethnic, working-class coalition of Florida voters who don’t like big government, don’t like socialism and just want the opportunity to live their lives in freedom and peace.

This doesn’t mean that all government is bad. It just means that government should live within its means and that essential services provided by government — like the national defense and important safety net programs — should be efficiently and effectively managed.

In my races for governor and the U.S. Senate, I didn’t treat Latino voters as an afterthought, an add-on, or an “outreach” group. Latinos were fundamental to all of my elections, and are fundamental to the emerging Republican coalition that leads the way in Florida.

President Trump had incredible success in Florida because his message resonated with this diverse coalition of voters who don’t neatly fit into the pundits’ and pollsters’ conception of the political world. And he worked to earn votes in my state — a necessity that Florida Democrats seemingly forgot about decades ago.

All this explains why the success of Florida Republicans, including the president, is a model for Republicans across the country.

“None of which matters at all if democrats get away with stealing elections.”

“That doesn’t make any sense.”

Sure it does, Florida also has republicans that are against President Trump.

How many words of support have you heard from Rubio? There is a house republican that voted against Trump bringing troops home and I’m sure there are others.

Bottom line is simple, a lot of us are fed up with the cowards in GOP that are not supporting our President and should he lose, the GOP is over.

“That doesn’t make any sense.”

If they targeted Florida for cheating, they would have won there too.

The dems didn’t attempt to cheat in FL, so republicans gained there.

Where Dems planned their cheating, Phila, Milwaukee, Detroit, they won overwhelmingly, and will continue to do so.

The republicans have NO ANSWER to dem cheating.

Therefore the dems will continue to win when and where they want to win.

ELECTIONS DON’T MATTER.

If Trump is not inaugurated, THE GOP IS OVER.

Rick Scott was elected and re-elected in Florida before Trump was.

“””Reps have control of the state congress in PA MI WI AZ GA but again, what good is that doing Trump?”””

So true. I am hearing too many folks complain that Trump should have done this or Trump should have done that.

What have the folks in PA MI WI AZ GA and in other Republican led States done to fix their election systems to put up as many roadblocks as possible to prevent cheating?

Instead, what did the Republican Majority Assembly and Senate do in Pennsylvania in October 2019?

These Majority Republicans in Pennsylvania were the ones who passed ACT 77, totally in violation of the PA Constitution, that allowed ‘no excuse’ absentee voting.

Either the Republican Leadership is brain dead or they believe they can scam the conservatives and no one will notice.

Well, the Republican Leadership has found their past actions or lack thereof have bitten them in the butt in 2020.
