Judge Emmet Sullivan still refusing to dismiss Michael Flynn case
More than a week after Flynn was pardoned by President Trump, Judge Sullivan still won't dismiss the case
n a Freedom of Information case related to former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, District Judge Reggie Walton said on Friday that Judge Emmet Sullivan doesn’t have a lot of options in dealing with the fact that President Trump granted Flynn a full pardon, “unless he takes the position that the wording of the pardon is too broad, in that it provides protections beyond the date of the pardon.”
“I don’t know what impact that would have, what decision he would make, if he makes that determination that the pardon of Mr. Flynn is for a period that the law does not permit,” said Walton, according to the National Law Journal. “I don’t know if that’s correct or not,” the judge continued. “Theoretically, the decision could be reached because the wording in the pardon seems to be very, very broad. It could be construed, I think, as extending protections against criminal prosecutions after the date the pardon was issued. I don’t know if Judge Sullivan will make that determination or not,” Walton added.
...
The legal process has dragged on through the appeals process, and finally President Trump issued a full pardon on November 25. On November 30, the DOJ notified Sullivan of the pardon, but he has still refused to drop the case.
Judge Walton appears to have hinted at what Sullivan is thinking as he refuses to dismiss the case.
Solomon Wisenberg, former deputy independent counsel, told Just the News that “It is disappointing but not surprising that Sullivan has yet to dismiss the case.”
What is wrong with that man? Let it go already.
Judge Emmet Sullivan still refusing to dismiss Michael Flynn case
Tyranny. Judicial tyranny, in this case, on full display.
A brain dead piece of shit in a black robe.
Film at eleven.
Is the judge wanting Flynn to plead guilty anyway?
It’s his precious.
When Republicans take the House in ‘22, impeaching Sullivan should be on the agenda. They may even be able to get a couple Democrats to cross over on it before then. He has flagrantly violated the Code of Conduct for United States Judges at the bare minimum.
He is straying into Ahab territory. No way this prosecution sticks.
In spite of a corrupt DOJ/FBI dropping the coerced charges and in spite of a presidential pardon, Sullivan is still intent on throwing Flynn in jail without any viable charges and without a jury. Apparently there are zero controls on this judge and his behavior. No means whatsoever to control him. And no punishment for his behavior.
It’s judicial malfeasance. In a sane world, he’d be led away by the elbow.
Flynn and his attorneys have no obligation to ever appear in that case again. It was dismissed with a full Presidential pardon.
Let that SOB try to get anyone arrested after a pardon.
The civil war has to start somewhere.
We really do have a criminal judiciary in this country.
JoMa
I hope his insides totally rot from the evil that is inside him.
Seriously. The President used his absolute pardon power in this case. A true unquestioned plenary power.
What happens if Powell and Flynn simply refuse to go to court or answer any of his communications on this case?
When rule of law is gone, when the Constitution is ignored, when the ballot box is a fraud, they leave us only one recourse.
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the belly laugh.
for the last couple years he has, yes
Didn’t take much for the Democrats to break you, did it?
Sullivan is another black leftist who hates white conservatives, esp. Flynn and Trump. His counterpart in DC is the DC Att. Gen Karl Racine, another black leftist (looking for financial ties/support from Soros. Will report on it later).
This is what generations of leftist/Marxist lawyers teaching “hate” in our law schools has succeeded in doing, corrupting the “law” for their leftist ideology.
The LEFT has no respect for the law or the Constitution. They only use them to subvert and destroy both.
