The vaccines have been tested on over 100,000 closely monitored volunteers for several months in western nations such as the US and the UK. The two being approved right now (Pfizer and Moderna) have proven themselves safe and effective in the same trials every other drug and vaccine on the market have been through.
This "renowned scientist" is a fringe nutjob spouting off wild conspiracy theories that run counter to all available evidence. Even educated people can be dumb.

You may be correct on your nutjob claim but I’m of the opinion that the country is overrun with nutjobs. I have no inclination to get vaccinated, for anything. I know several people now that had the china flu and recovered. I have no underlying conditions and will take my chances.

The doctor’s use of the word “doom” is a red flag. In 30 years I’ve never heard my doctor use the word “doom”. I’ll heed my doctor’s advice.
I’m not saying that SARS-COV-2 is harmless. No. I never said that. It’s about as dangerous as an influenza virus. A seasonal, moderate flu. What I am saying is that the most at risk are those over 70 with severe pre-existing conditions. So, if you say, we should protect them, I’m right there with you and that’s good.We have to do that. We should want to protect them. But how?
Then the question is: Should we vaccinate them? I would say yes, but these vaccines better be tested damned well for safety, especially because this vaccine will be used primarily on older sick people and not on young healthy people.
So, twelve months is not enough time for that. Not even five years. Certainly not. And that just applies to conventional vaccines.
His overarching point here is that (1) This isn't the black plague of the middle ages, or the Spanish flu. It's serious, but about as serious as a "moderate" flu with the usual group of people most affected (older, with pre-existing conditions).
(2) Since this isn't the zombie apocalypse, lock everything down, keep kids away from school kind of "pandemic" that Fraud-chi and most of the media have sold to the general public...there is no need to rush into mass population distribution a vaccine(s) that even if it has been tested on 100,000 people....has NOT been studied long enough. His point is that a few months of data, is NOT enough time to determine mid-term...let alone long term safety.
There is nothing nutjob about wanting to be cautious in this case.
And what are the long term side effects?
Really? Have they tested women of child-bearing ages, trying to conceive? Do they know for a fact, that these mRNA vaccines (that re-program cells) have no impact on fertility? What about testing on males? Are you certain?
My bet is that any woman pregnant, or one trying to conceive was excluded from their studies. We will not fully know the answer to these questions for years.

I watched the interview he gave on a German language program and he seems pretty circumspect on both the nature of the virus and the political response we have seen to dealing with it.
If you had read his book on the subject, which will not be available in English on Amazon until Dec 20th or later, maybe then you could see what he means by “doom” with regard to lifelong negative side effects to the immune system?
I won’t dismiss him just because I don’t want to admit I have been lied to by the media and main stream AMA medicine for almost a year now.
