What makes you think the voters even voted for these people? I have been quite guilty of this assumption myself for years........
I think it has become painfully obvious that politicians have become quite adept and unfearful at stealing/cheating in elections especially in democratic controlled precincts and with all likelihood have been doing so for quite some time.
