The federal government law enforcement agencies have never backed him or followed his direction. The military won’t back him on that.

In many ways, he’s been one of the most powerless of presidents in all of our history. The corrupt government was against him every minute of every day. He’s got nothing to fight them with. He’s got voters and pretty much nothing else.

While I don't entirely disagree with you, I think you underestimate the breadth of his silent supporters.
