And do not underestimate the power of the Pill in fostering one-child spoiled children who have no close kin to play and interact with and learn how to deal with conflicts etc.

Yes. But that was in the headline, while in the article itself it actually states that,
I don’t buy it.
For one thing, a little pot smoking gets tagged “substance use disorder.”
When you’re a hammer, all your problems look like nails. Setting salaried head-shrinkers to find mental problems is absurd on the face of it.

No, because it is inline with the percentage that had suicidal thoughts before the pandemic. Not everyone who has suicidal thoughts carries through with them. But, when surveyed in anonymous surveys, they will report such thoughts. Sounds bad that 25% have such thoughts which most will read as 25% have done something about those thoughts.
Diet and excerise for about 3 years before covid hit would have been good too. If you die and have type 2 diabetes you did it to yourself.
1 in 4? Now you know the chinese virus numbers are just as made up!
