Fox forgot who their core audience was, and then chose to betray them.

Their betrayal was a bigger mistake than a change in programming. It is not forgivable.

True.

There was a long time successful family restaurant chain in the midwest with waiting time in the lobby for a table every day. A younger marketing woman took over and announced a huge transformation to get rid of the aging family clientele and birthday cake free type groups and attract the burgeoning Millenial demographic.

Loud rap and other music. Bright painted colors all over and ads implying it was now a good place to pick up dates. But the older people and families all stopped going, insulted and pushed away, and the Millenials remembered the long time old America image and refused to dine there. Lobbies emptied and they went out of business.
