Sunday (Nov 22) marks the 57th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy and nearly six decades on, fascination still abounds over the details of one of the 20th century's landmark events.
The 35th American president was fatally shot by Lee Harvey Oswald shortly after midday on Friday November 22 1963 while riding in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza, in Dallas, Texas.
Footage of him in the car with his wife Jaqueline and Texas Governor John Connally and his wife, has gone down in history as one of the iconic images of the age.
Most of the documents related to the killing were made publicly available under the 1992 John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act, which mandated that all the material be made public 25 years later, by October 26, 2017.
However, President Donald Trump yielded to concerns by U.S. national security and intelligence agencies. He allowed the National Archives to release a small percentage of the total—around 3,000 documents. A much larger batch was withheld at the request of the CIA because more time was needed to review the documents.

So, NO!
So, NO!
I don’t see why he would have access to those kinds of records as a federal inmate.
“The 35th American president was fatally shot by Lee Harvey Oswald shortly after midday on Friday November 22 1963 while riding in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza, in Dallas, Texas.”
Nice to see Newsweek providing some background on the story.
Thank you.
Thank you again.
Last evening I watched about 5 hours of a documentary that was very well done on Oswald’s actions prior to the assassination. It was on Pluto’s History channel.
It was spellbounding it was so well done. It refuted the Warren Report with pretty good evidence.
No, because he’ll be back in the basement come January.
The CIA needs more time to examine the documents???? My goodness...how much more time do they need??
Sounds good. Did it say there was more than one shooter?
Joe Biden is a BAD DUDE.
His name was Seth Rich.
His name was Michael Hastings.
His name was FReeper Andrew (Breitbart)
His name was John F. Kennedy.
His name was Bobby Kennedy.
His name was Martin Luther King.
His name was Abraham Lincoln.
His name was Jesus Christ.
Has “Big Guy” released his medical records?
Bottom line, Castro was behind it and had spies in Alpha 66.
Oswald was friends with Cubans and was really pissed that JFK renigged on air support in the Bay of Pigs invasion. He then flipped sides.
If he can blame it on Trump, he’ll release it...
How, when, and where did Oswald coordinate with the other shooter(s)?
I think he won’t be sworn in. And if he is, he is a tool of intel and he will do what ever CIA tells him.
And last, I would like anyone to explain how anything from 1963 should be secret today.
It’s laughable on it’s very face.
There is only one reason for locking anything down now, to hide embarrassing acts by government agencies.
What sort of warped, inconsequential, feeble mind would even raise such a question? Biden will sell us out to China, Iran, and Woke Identity Politics in one heartbeat and crush the constitution in the next heartbeat.
Then his heart will stop beating, he will go face-down in his vanilla custard, and the hard-core communist Harris will be POTUS who will really put the pedal to the metal in their race to communism.
We have those sort of REAL problems to worry about, not “who killed JFK.”
If he wants to solve unsolved murders, he should turn his attention to Jeffrey Epstein, Seth Rich, Ron Brown and Vince Foster.
Have no sympathy for the devil
