Chinese President Xi Jinping has urged his troops not to fear death and focus on preparing to win wars while addressing military commanders.
He told his armed forces on Wednesday to step up training under combat conditions and 'not fear death and hardship', reported state media, citing the leader.
Xi has previously called for military readiness amid spiking political tensions between Beijing and other countries, particularly the US and self-ruled Taiwan, over coronavirus pandemic, territorial disputes and human rights.
Last month, the Communist leader told his Navy troops to ‘focus all [your] minds and energy on preparing for war and maintain a high level of alert' during a tour in Chaozhou of Guangdong province.
While visiting the marine base, Xi urged the soldiers to 'speed up improving [their combat capabilities]' in order to become a 'multi-functional, rapid response, all-weather and region' elite force.

China has a bigger problem than the number of marriage age women.
Its the large number of marriage age women who are single and will never marry or have children.
They are called the “leftover” women.
For whatever reason they aren’t deemed marriage worthy as teenagers and the label stuck.
They could be tagged unworthy of marriage for any reason. Complexion too dark, from rural families, not fitting the Chinese vision of beauty, you name it. If a woman isn’t married by age 25 she never will be. The best they can hope for is to be some rich man’s mistress.
There are also “leftover” men in China who are leftover for the same reasons plus they are viewed as under achievers who spend their spare time playing computer games and loafing.
Add in that China’s state operated abortion mills run 24/7, getting rid of female babies and unwanted second children, and China has a mess on it’s hand.
Xi may want a war to keep his empire from falling apart for the time being.

According to Peter Zaihan, a geopolitical strategist, Xi is attempting to focus the Chinese people on the outside so that they don’t focus on the problems inside. This has been a successful Chinese strategy since the Communists took power. Xi can say and do almost anything he wants as he knows the other sides will not strike first, or at all. Mao said something that loosely translates to, if you would fight a stronger foe, first, cut off his finger. Without Trump and his blustering Xi will attack Taiwan as soon as the weather permits. (Around the end of March.) It doesn’t matter that he wins or not. He can declare victory and for the most part, the Chinese people won’t know the difference as Xi controls what they see and hear. Xi’s objective is to stimulate all that preprogrammed patriotism that China has instilled in every citizen since birth.
Without the pending war, Xi’s power and the CCP are finished. Xi is hopping to keep the gravy train rolling by pulling off a war. He really doesn’t care how many Chinese or other die or how it damages the environment. At stake is whether Xi lives or dies.
He’s counting on a Biden steal.
