Sidney Powell, the attorney recently removed from the president's legal team, filed a lawsuit in Georgia this week alleging, without evidence, a vast conspiracy against Trump built on unproven claims of numerous instances of voter fraud in the state.
The 104-page suit, filed in the U.S District Court in Atlanta on behalf of Trump electors and Republican officials, among others, is demanding numerous longshot remedies, including decertifying the state's election results, preventing the results from being transmitted to the electoral college and disqualifying Biden's electors in favor of Trump's electors.
Like many suits before it, Powell’s case relies on affidavits from various poll watchers, audit watchers and self-described experts who claim, without documentation or supporting evidence, that they witnessed a wide range of fraudulent activity, including switching votes from Biden to Trump, counting illegal votes and shutting observers out of the process.
The suit rests heavily on a debunked conspiracy theory that has been trafficked widely on the internet which blames the Dominion Voting Systems for secretly flipping thousands of votes from Trump to Biden. Veteran elections officials from both parties have refuted the claim, as did the Trump administration’s own cybersecurity expert.
Other conspiracy theories cited in the lawsuit as "evidence" include an affidavit from a man who claims he went undercover in Antifa and overheard a top Dominion official talking about rigging the election. The lawsuit also claims, with no evidence, that a water pipe burst on election night, which briefly delayed the counting of ballots, was part of a conspiracy to prevent Trump poll watchers from seeing them process ballots.

Olde
But they eagerly reported every anonymous rumor about Trump as a carefully verified fact.
“...The lawsuit also claims, with no evidence, that a water pipe burst on election night,”
ABC accidentally let a little truth sneak into this ridiculous propaganda screed. There is indeed no evidence that a water pipe burst at State Farm Arena on election night.
Otherwise it’s a great article, but it could use to have the phrase “without evidence” inserted another hundred times or so.
If only Disney had written articles for Pravda... there might still be a Soviet Union.
Eye witness testimony IS evidence. Even the media thought so when they were trashing Justice Kavanaugh at his confirmation hearing. As usual, they want it both ways.
Like the pic.
The authoress should be ashamed of herself.
Believe it or not, there was a time in our country when the media would have thoroughly investigated these serious national matters. Now, because the media is so thoroughly corrupt they merely scoff and give cover to the Democrat Party for whom they are employed. Everyone knows that if the election roles were reversed, there would be nonstop hysteria from the corrupt MSM. Now, anybody who raises the issue, even with proof, is a nut. The old Clinton “sluts and nuts” strategy. They even pulled out the race card, saying this was an effort to disenfranchise the Black vote.
Same handbook tactics from the same DNC media. And of course the Tech Barons simply suppress any information on behalf of their DNC masters.
Nonetheless, I will not back down. Not now. Not ever. For too long you have called us kooks, racists, conspirators, whatever. You will not get away with it this time. The Republic is at stake.
Sometimes conspiracy theories are proved to be conspiracy facts.
I call the original logo the “Barastika”
If this hack took a shot of liquor every time they used the word “conspiracy”, in this rubbish article, they’d have alcohol poisoning.
only Disney had written articles for Pravda... there might still be a Soviet Union.
Well, their theme parks are resembling USSR, these days. Closed!!
The entire internet knows that the term conspiracy theory was coined by the CIA to discredit people who found out about their plans....interesting choice of words by ABC.
They wouldn’t be an alphabet news agency would they?
As we all know... when you go to court... you present all your evidence ahead of time to the media so they can tell the judge whether you are going to win your case.
I recall reading a comment from Peter Jennings in which he said that most people in the Soviet Union and East Bloc were really not interested in having Western style freedoms. They certainly made the effort to parrot Tass and Pravda back then.
Ahh, but Disney seems to have hired show biz Variety headline writers...
Not even the New York Daily News uses “nix” in headlines.
Although the original Mockingbird project probably goes by some cool new name, the generic term is still useful in describing the deep state infiltration and subjugation of the major media.
Powell’s filing in GA is here now, with exhibits:

It lays out some of the rationale behind the claims, and many, if not perhaps most, democrat voters know the media is in the tank for the democrats, so will take the character assassination as only perhaps true.
When the story comes together and gets traction, people may have originally rejected the legos/facts, but that doesn't change that they now have some of those facts at their disposal to cognitively re-assemble into their reality self-story, rather than their 'powell-is-a-nut-and-this-is-what-she-said' story.
