A proposal introduced Tuesday would have the Board of Supervisors president read a statement at the start of every meeting acknowledging that they are guests of the Ramaytush Ohlone, who were the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula.

Why dont they just kill themselves
Actually, the Clovis were there long before the Ramaytush Ohlone, and might even have been the original human inhabitants. It seems to me that it would more appropriate to honor the Clovis rather rather than some uninvited colonizers such as the Ramaytush Ohlone.
I’m waiting for the Turks to acknowledge they live on former Greek/Roman land.
(Crickets chirping...)
I hate this crap.
Wait till they find out there is evidence Africans were in the Americas first and may have been wiped out by the Asian newcomers.
The should say they are a guest of the Heywood Jablome.
Overwhelming odds that these people killed and displaced others at some point in their history.
” “Death Valley Days.””
I honor their memory by using 20 Mule Team Borax in the laundry.
I bet these same people who are so eager to recognize the land Indian tribes from 10,000 years ago occupied won’t acknowledge that Israel has a right to a square inch of land.
Also the first known Mouseketeer?
Another great Californian idea......I’ll wait for any member of the SF Supervisors to return their personal real estate “stolen” from the Ramaytush Ohlone....what a bunch of virtue signalers.
They have been doing this in Canada for years.
Cities, universities, you name it.
San Francisco is actually lagging in wokeness gestures on this one.
“Ram ya tush”? In San Francisco?!?
This *has* to be satire. :P
Actually, the Ramaytush Ohlone were only the last Indian tribe to occupy the peninsula. The Ramaytush Ohlone were preceded by the N'goh-Ha, whom the Ramaytush Ohlone had wiped out. The N'goh-Ha had previously taken the peninsula from the Da'an-Ali, whom they had first genocided. Etc.
Regards,
Sometimes potential clients give you all you need up front to choose to leave them in the potential category, permanently.
They aren’t guests. They are conquerors. If they were serious they would give up their own homes and property in solidarity.
“...guests of the Ramaytush Ohlone, who were the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula....”

And what about the earlier “Native American” tribes who the Ramaytush Ohlone murdered and drove off that land?
Nah, it was the one up in Haight-Ashbury that was converted from a head shop ... and was still a head shop.
I live on land the Apache used to ride over.
It’s mine now, because everything changes.
