“The only way to stop this sort of blatant and widespread cheating in the future is for people to be put in jail for the maximum 2 years under the law.”

I was stunned where I read that in some states vote tampering could get a person only a year in prison or a $1,000 fine.

Vote tampering and especially whole-sale vote tampering should be getting people decades in prison. I’m old fashioned that way, I guess.

Wouldn’t each count of vote tampering get one year? Find 10,000 votes tampered with and they get a 10,000 year sentence. Even with good behavior, they are done.

Might that be per instance? Per vote?
