Gen Flynn has been under a gag order. I wonder if Trump pardoned him now because Flynn knows something and would no longer be silenced.

If he dismisses it is over. He'll probably dismiss because the matter is now moot. Flynn is pardoned.
Flynn can sue like crazy.

Flynn was going to be acquitted by the legal system.Sullivan has purposely delayed/stalled the so-called review hoping to be supported by a Biden AG. My guess is that the President wanted to avoid this potential scenario.
Sullivan will reap what he has sowed. There is a righteous Judge who sees all and knows all. He will correct the injustice.

They were saying on NBC News that he was convicted. From what I understand, his first plea was nullified due to conflict of interest and his second appearance to plea did not result in a plea. But he was never convicted.

Not sure what to make of this and the timing is odd given the election mess as there was no urgency that I can see?
Sydney Powell specifically asked at the end of Sept. 2020 that a pardon NOT be given to Flynn.
Accepting a pardon also carries a confession of guilt.
The only thing I can think of is, Sullivan has pretty much run out the clock. If Biden is president, DOJ switches sides and Flynn gets sentenced.
