I share your embarrassment.
Many of us were taken in with the belief that we should vote for the lesser of the two evils. The problem with that theory, as proven with Ryan, McShame and Mitt, is that voting for the lesser to two evils is still voting for evil.
The only good one associated with that bunch was Sarah Palin, and this association tied an anchor to her neck that has kept her down ever since.

I voted for this pug and Romney. Should have voted for Obama or abstained. Romney and Ryan would have put eighteen daggers in our backs.

Your comment illustrates just how angry over 73 million Americans, including me, are over this fraudulent stolen election. I don’t know what is going to happen, but President Trump is the best thing to happen to the U.S. in a very, very long time. He’s done so much despite so many challenges at every turn.
My husband is Canadian and just doesn’t understand why I am upset. I try to explain, but then I said, “Yeah, you’re right. Canadians just don’t get worked up like Americans do.”
I left out: The USA’s president is the leader of the free world and shoulders all of the world’s burdens. Canada relies on the US for security, allowing to fund its “fantastic” socialized medicine.
When my daughter was 18 months old, we went to northern Quebec to visit my mother in law. My girl was prone to ear infections and spent all night crying, so I drove her to the hospital in the morning (it was around Christmas).
We sat there for well over twelve hours. At around 6 pm, I realized that no one had been called to the doctor in about three hours; the waiting room was full.
So I carried my baby up to the nurse and said, “What’s going on here?”
“The doctors are having their dinner.”
“Are you telling me,” I said, “that in this hospital, every single doctor is having dinner at the exact same time? These people have been waiting. My daughter is in pain!”
Then I turned to the crowd and said, in my crappy French, “Are you going to stand for this? All the doctors are too busy to see us.”
Suffice it to say, my daughter was seen within 15 minutes. Got an antibiotic prescription and filled it on the way home.
Canadians are pacifists. They just don’t take action when it is needed.
Sorry for the rant. The incident still makes me mad, even though she’s 21 now. How time flies. :) Julie

Just win GOP primaries, use the existing infrastructure, drive out the pigs, control the branding of the party, so much easier and more logical. Half of the worst ones have left already.

The shortlist was supposedly, Ryan, Fat ass Christie (at least he wouldn’t have sucked off Obama days before the election if he had been VP nominee), Rubio, Portman (who loves his gay son), and Tim Pawlenty.
