“I think maybe even more important is that these legal challenges to the outcome and the attacks on our voting system really need to stop, in my opinion,” Ryan said during Bank of America’s virtual European Credit Conference. “The outcome will not be changed, and it will only serve to undermine our faith in our system of government, our faith in our democracy.
Ryan then took aim at President Trump’s legal team, accusing them of “doing damage to our country, to our democratic institutions and norms,” by challenging the election results in key battleground states.
The former House Speaker stated: “It is not pleasant, and I know there are a lot of people in this country who are really disappointed. But I think it’s really important that we’re clear about this, which is the mere fact that the president’s lawyers throw these sort of baseless conspiracy theories out at press conferences but offer no evidence of these in court tells you that there is not the kind of widespread voter fraud or systemic voter fraud that would be required to overturn the outcome of this election.”
“So, the election is over. The outcome is certain, and I really think the orderly transfer of power — that is one of the most uniquely fundamental American components of our political system,” he added.
Ryan retired from politics in January 2019 after serving three years as Speaker and seeing the Republicans lose a House majority in the 2018 midterm election.
Since departing Congress, Ryan joined Fox Corp. as a member of its board of directors and sits on the media giant’s compensation committee.

The GOP is as corrupt as the democrats...
It is a new party or nothing...
I am confident DJT will win a second term. It is an article of faith. It was impossible for an outsider to win the presidency in face of ferocious opposition from Rats, Repugs, MSM, deep state, and China. Yet, he won. I am sure it was divine intervention. It was god, answering the prayers of the American silent majority.
So it is an article of faith for me that DJT will win again.
When DJT is sworn in, a 50/50 Senate is actually BETTER for him, because Pence will be the tie-breaker, and Pence will ALWAYS serve DJT. Therefore, DJT will NOT need the Repugs to save America.
OTOH, if it is a 48/52 Senate when DJT takes over, I can see McConnel blackmailing DJT to push his agenda: “Mr. President, this is an important matter with bi-partisan support, and if we cannot have your support, I think I can reach across the aisle and over-ride your veto.”
So ... yeah ... boycott the GA senate runoffs, I say.
Let DJT and Pence run the show.
We are the majority, and we need to start acting like it.
The Republican Party needs us. We don’t need it.
Starting IMMEDIATELY, no patriot should cast a single vote for, nor contribute a single dollar to, a candidate calling himself “Republican” unless he makes this pledge:
I shall support our lawful president, Donald J Trump, in his second term, on each and every issue. And after he has served his term, I will seek and follow his guidance on all issues of import.
DJT is fighting for us. In that, I have absolute faith. As to the rest of the RINOs and Repugs in DC ... not at all.
I am disgusted by McConnel and Graham, disappointed at Cruz and Barr, and even have my doubts about Giuliani and Kushner.
No thanks.. Even Mrs Deplorable said No thanks. 😀
What was the Question? Why did Republican voters voted for those GLOBALISTS? 😀
Yes, he will be K. Harris Mouthpiece... 😀
I never asked a question...
Ryan is taking a victory lap.
The Democrat Fraud Machine and the Deep State, aided and abetted by the Treason Media, ran a Coup-By-Fraud to steal the Presidency.
The problems arising from that include:
1. The murder of the democracy that the Founding Fathers created
2. The usurping of the Real President, Trump, and his America First agenda
3. The disenfranchisement of everyone who voted for him
However, Paul Ryan says that the only thing that matters is to pretend that everything is OK.
That way, globalists hacks like him can go back to business as usual, wrecking the country with Open Borders and other America Last policies.
Additionally, if he gets to pretend that democracy is still working in America, he can still use democracy as a pretext for promoting Endless Wars abroad.
When are the members going to be revealed? Can't wait.
Biden and Eddie Munster.

We should also demand that anyone in the GOP who wants our votes must commit to reducing the size of the overbearing government. If they don’t show evidence of their individual efforts to do that they’re gone. Period. No excuses.
Fedzilla is the source of most of our problems today.
It is a new party or nothing...
**************
As Trump would say: What do we have to lose?
I’m sick and tired of being stabbed in the back by the GOP. More than ready to move on.
If Trump established a new conservative party the GOP would be dead overnight. Literally. I don’t know anyone who would stick with the Gutless Old Party.
When the Constitution was drafted, you could live your entire life without ever dealing with the Federal government. Unless you invented something and wanted to patent it, or unless you filed for bankruptcy, or you wanted to do international travel and trade, you basically had nothing to do with the Feds.
There was no Federal income tax. There were no massive Federal regulatory scheme, controlling every aspect of your life and your business.
Don’t get me wrong. We are no longer an 18th century agrarian economy. Now, in the 21st century, market efficiency can be promoted by reasonable, uniform regulations.
The key word here is: “REASONABLE.”
An overbearing federal government is actually exacerbating our differences. Instead of allowing states to manage most of their affairs based on their unique needs, history, culture and values an oversized government attempts to control virtually every aspect of our lives.
All this has led to is complete dysfunction and increasing division in the country.
THAT is a fundamental structural problem that has to be addressed if we are to move forward as a viable republic.
Very well said !
Going back to a Federal government of limited and enumerated powers, as envisioned by the Founding Fathers, may be politically difficult. But the theoretical legislative framework is easy.
1- Get rid of the 16th Amendment, and there will be no more Federal income tax. Taxes get apportioned among the states based on population.
2- Go back to the original intent of the Founding Fathers by interpreting Article I, section 8, literally. Congress can regulate commerce among states. Congress has no power to regulate commerce inside a state. The expansion of the regulatory powers came during FDR.
Roll back the power of the Federal government to tax and regulate, and things will start falling into place.
Thank you. We need to get back to federalism, as the Founders intended.
We need a new party that is based around the principles of smaller government. That and emphasis on personal liberty should be the guiding values and focus of such a party.
If/when one arises the GOP will become extinct overnight.
