Why California Republicans Stopped Complaining About Ballot Harvesting And Embraced The Harvest
National Review ^ | 11-22-20 | Tobias Hoonhout

Following a bloodbath for Republicans in the 2018 midterms, then-House speaker Paul Ryan couldn’t believe what he had seen out in California.

“We were only down 26 seats the night of the election and three weeks later, we lost basically every California race,’’ Ryan — a mentor to California Republican and current House GOP head Kevin McCarthy — told the Washington Post in a post-mortem interview. “This election system they have — I can’t begin to understand what ‘ballot harvesting’ is.”

This is how you win

You beat them at their own rules

Run a Trump Republican against Nancy, register everyone and everything to vote, dead, homeless shelters, dogs, cats, etc and ballot harvest the dickens out of it and beat Nancy

Ballot Harvesting would then become illegal the next day.

The ‘Rats hate it when you beat them at their own game.

Ballot harvesting in California is pretty worthless as they would probably never vote for a Republican presidential candidate anyway.

Time to write to your local representative in your state legislature and ban mail in ballots.

I've been telling him to his face for many years about the risks of mixing computers and ballots. We need to have a chat about mail-in ballots.

Actually I think we have recouped several seats so I am pretty happy about that. Much of the progress we made in the House this time is due to California winning back seats that got harvested away from us in 2018.

Republicans really need to force this issue. We need to find some smallish town, maybe 50K population, and fraudulently submit like 200K ballots - all for the republican candidates - to start getting some attention. We need to show how easily the current system can be gamed.

If voters were required to produce a valid id to vote, democrats couldn’t win elections.

Paul RINO was either complicit in losing the House or a useful idiot.

This year, the Democrats changed the rules and knew ahead of time how they would be changed and exploited them - and were *already* organized and prepared for precisely how it would go down - the system was rigged. We have to learn to reorganize faster and analyze these schemes and respond accordingly.

And actually running a campaign to reach voters would help as well for future reference.

It helped in a number of House races we lost last time around.

I have news for NRO, with a few exceptions, California is still a blood bath for Republicans.

Mail in ballots and early voting with No voter ID is nothing but a scam set up by Dems to cheat.
