I would die laughing :)

Ah, the colorful days of hits in barbershops and fancy restaurants are over for the Italian Mafia.

I was maybe 11 when they got Carmine Galante at Joe and Mary’s in Brooklyn.

I asked my pop...what happened to him.

And that was my introduction to part of the Italian American subculture.

They ARE Definitely still around, but much more quiet and with a lot of Sicilians shipped here.

That wasn’t too long ago if I remember. Wasn’t he the guy that still had a cigar in his hand when cops found him dead?
