WASHINGTON — A federal judge on Saturday dismissed a lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump's campaign in Pennsylvania, saying it contained "strained legal argument without merit."
U.S. District Court Judge Matthew Brann turned down the request for an injunction, dealing another blow to Trump's hopes of invalidating the election's results.
In his 37-page ruling, Brann said the Trump campaign asked him to “disenfranchise almost seven million voters” and said he could not find any case in which a plaintiff “has sought such a drastic remedy in the contest of an election.”
With such a request, the judge said, one might expect compelling legal argument “and factual proof of rampant corruption.” Instead, Brann added, “this court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations.”

Judge Brann was the “Conservative” half of two Obama picks from Pennsylvania.
The Senate approved both judges unanimously.
Frankly, Judge Brann was accurate when he said Trump's case is based on “speculative accusations.”
This is what happens when a President and the Republican Party do absolutely nothing for four years to prevent voter fraud in a critical swing state.

After the fraud has happened it is too late to do a thing about it. Once they had their scheme and put their plan in motion, it was then that they had to be stopped, before a single ballot was cast. Trump told us all they were going to do this. I suppose he was talked into a strategy of suing after the fact. Oh well.
When this happened and many told me, “we will get them in the Courts.” I said “good luck.”
Judges are spineless creatures, always looking for a way to either avoid work or avoid making a big decision or looking for the outcome they want while having a clerk dress it up with some of that “law stuff.”
Oh, make no mistake, if the shoe were on the other foot right now, a leftist judge would be “all in.”
As to this case, it is just silly. The Judge will decry not wanting to disenfranchise voters by invalidating “BALLOTS” but ignore the fact that if those ballots contain numerous FRAUDULENT votes they do exactly that, you have disenfranchised legal voters. You have taken their choice and invalidated it.
So, we have a Judge putting on a blindfold, proclaiming, “I don’t see anything here” and then decrying the futility of the Trump campaign’s case.
And the casualty? It is votes that have been vitiated in favor of ballots. Now our elections are a race to the bottom to see how can cheat better.
It’s lazy and cowardly as hell. But it is what you can expect all the way up to the Supreme Court.

This is just another corrupt judge in a whole menagerie full of corrupt people playing at being judges. I’m convinced that if God Himself ran as a Republican in this selection, He would have lost too.

I would amend that by suggesting that the neglect was willful. They knew there was fraud but figured that if it helps the GOPe get rid of Trump, it was kewl.
So now the GOP will not only not get rid of this, they will eagerly partake in it themselves, electing their usual stooges and getting back to things the way they should be.

By who’s standards? If she establishes her case way before a deadline without all tge evidence possible, in order to please OIFVeteran, no further evidence can be added.
I think in the near future ballots will be high speed, they will be cast a 2250 fps fast.

The procedure for obtaining injunctive relief is:
1. TRO - generally, emergency relief without hearing (high standard to meet) and is severely time-limited.
2. Preliminary Injunction - this is used when something threatens the relief sought and to hold the “something” in abeyance and preserve the status quo until the case is finished. Alot of the time, in actions to prevent a govt. official (or the “state”) from doing something, it is required that you, at least, file for injunctive relief to preserve any other legal remedies that may be available to you. When filed, there is a preliminary hearing to argue over the requirements for injunctive relief and to set the date for a full blown evidentiary hearing if those requirements are met. This requires a subjective discretionary call on the part of the Judge. This is the hurdle that has not been cleared yet - there has never been an evidentiary hearing allowed in the case...yet.
3. Permanent Injunction - Issued after trial and is part of case resolution permanently requiring something or preventing something from happening.
The Federalist Society is a joke. People need to stop taking it seriously. John Roberts was a member of the Federalist Society and vetted by them.
EVERY INSTITUTION IS CORRUPT! I don’t care how old it is, how much it shills its conservative values, it’s compromised.
The Federalist Society acts as a gatekeeper to make sure nobody who is too radical (in other words, actually do something to shift the direction of courts) gets appointed.
If you don’t believe me, 15 out of 19 justices on SCOTUS have been appointed by the GOP, and the direction hasn’t shifted an inch since the Warren Court.

Your viewpoint is rife with shallow strategic thinking. No matter how much evidence is presented to any Obama appointed judge, the ruling will be against Trump.
And presenting the evidence in lower courts will give more time for democrats to prepare counter offensive in SCOTUS where the final ruling will occur.

I hope your right. But time is running out. I don’t think the Supreme Court will overturn the election after the electors vote on Dec 14th. So that gives them three weeks to provide their evidence in court.
