Where the elections results are being questioned
Canvassers should given the precinct lists of registered voters and their addresses and sent in. Ordered to verify those listed for their qualification and residency.
When active with the GOP in Chicago 12th and 23rd wards during the 60’s and 70’s this was a standard practice by Committeeman Dick Andersen 12th and John L Waner 23rd for precinct workers.
Was surprised when I became active in Wisconsin in the 20’s this isn’t done by the local GOP.
That makes sense, but I haven’t heard anyone talk of this for years and, sadly, it is likely either because people are lazy or don’t want to imply their opponent’s party was corrupt.
That’s funny, because it sounds like the GOP was fine with calling out Chicago Democrats, at one time.
