Not sure how reliable Ethan Van Sciver as a source be he claimed the DC editor in chief reports to a new outsider, a general manager, instead of the publisher & chief creative officer.
Wonder Woman did OK but, generally, the DC films haven't done anywhere close to the Marvel Universe films.
[“Many fans were often told ‘if you don’t like it, don’t buy it’ so many did exactly that.”
It’s terrible when you are so politically correct that you don’t know your own base.]
I like the Star Girl Show. I hope it returns for a second season. Comic books in the 60s were about good guys going into battle against bad guys. There were lots of cool battles. Superman, Batman, The Justice League, Wonder Woman. And the movies. The internet may have moved the kids away from books and over to X-box and PlayStation games. And all the Queer nation/ social justice warrior garbage Uck. Regarding comic books, Classics Illistrated had several cool issues of major book titles. The Time Machine was a fun read in comic book form.

There’s a tagline in there somewhere.
I had no idea. I remember when I was a kid, must have been around 1970 or so, The Archies song, Sugar Sugar, was a record cut-out on the back of a cereal box. It actually played on our record player. Sound quality was crap, but I loved it.
