Many of us have called NR many nasty names, but they have not ever been nor are they now “libertarian”. :-)
What they are is “Deep State”.
Say what? Did you actually mean to say the National Review is not and was not libertarian?
It should interest you to know the Nat Rev was founded by William F Buckley. One of the foremost libertarians ever to spout liberaltarian nonsense.
And true to form, they are still in opposition to conservative viewpoints.
