Fox was never the voice of conservatives
Roger Ailes declared it would be a voice delivering a conservative message. The brilliance was offering enough liberal messaging to get enough viewers to pay the bills. Until there was Fox, there was no conservative message on TV at all
Fox was never intended to be a conservative propaganda outlet as CNN is a leftwing propaganda outlet.
Alas, Fox seems to have deserted the path.
