The final county in NY-22 counted their mail in ballots today, and Claudia Tenney, the GOP challenger and former congresswoman for this district, is still ahead by 339 votes over the 'Rat incumbent Anthony Brindisi. Tenney was ahead of Brindisi by about 30,000 votes on election night.

There are still challenged ballots to be ruled on by a state court judge in Oswego County; it isn't clear how many of these are left.

Hopefully she hangs on.

The count of confirmed winners are: Rats, 222; GOP, 209. The GOP leads in the four undecided districts, CA-21 (by about 1,800 votes), CA-25 (by 422 votes), and IA-2 (47 votes out of 394k cast, recount underway) and NY-22 (339 votes)

So they need what, like 5 to have majority?

Wow.

First coattail election with no coat.

So, GOP won back House seats, held the Senate, won Governor races, and Legislatures, but Trump lost and Biden got 10 million more votes than Obama?

Sure. I believe that.

Someone needs to take a good hard look at all the state Senate seats the ‘Rats won in NYS this time around.

That stinks to high heaven, too...

Wasn’t Brindisi a schlock lawyer before? I seem to recall that name from my adjusting days.

The Iowa seat is important. It would move a Republican state delegation from that to tied. Republicans would still hold delegation lead by 1 state for a possible January vote, but a margin of 2 is important buffer.

Trump said during the debate in October the GOP had a chance to take back the House. Of course the experts denied it.

“GOP on track to win at least 213 seats in the 117th Congress. “
***********************************************
I don’t know if that 213 figure includes the seat for Louisiana’s 5th District which will need to be decided by a runoff since none of the candidates exceeded the 50% level. The really good news there is that the top two vote getters (who will advance to the runoff) are BOTH REPUBLICANS. So the seat is certain to be filled by a Republican

Yep, he's generally correct.

I wonder how many seats can be overturned if the results in the six states are changed by the lawsuits? There is still a chance that the Democrats could lose the House and White House.

Amazing how unprecise the entire election has been.

I know all of us are consumed with and focused on the Heist of 2020, but based on what happened in this election there is a real chance that the GOP could take back the house in 2022 if the Trump voters stay motivated.

I cannot imagine there is not going to be a major cleaning up of voter rolls and elections by then given that we have majority state legislatures in the US.

It is a “no-brainer” for even the weakest republicrat in a state house or senate to support this.

Compare this to the “expert” Mr. Charlie Cook who found 35 “toss up” House races; to our “surprise” Mr. Cook ain’t the expert he proclaims himself to be as the Rs won all 35.

Anyone within 6% is in the game according to Sidney Powell.
