If it was in Germany, I have no idea what their search and seizure rules are—or if you just pick it up and bring it back to the US, what the legalities are for evidence.

IMO the server is their case. How they got it might be in question, maybe not. It is the Kracken. No way they want anybody to know who has it or where. It would surely disappear. Without it, the evidence they have now won’t be enough to overturn an election. Pray they have it.
