Fraud certainly occurred in this election. But President Trump knows that his quest to overturn the election is pretty much over.
Rudy Giuliani is not going to be able to make the case that it was widespread enough to overturn the vote. That is the truth.

To use your football analogy, unless Bill Barr and the FBI show up on the field with arrest warrants, there’s not even a game imo
I just don’t see the state legislators having the backbone to step in, when law enforcement hasn’t stepped in and nobody has been arrested

We need to fear more than that. There will never be another President from any other party again and they will do what they wish with the bill of rights. We will be a one party communist nation within two years... They will deplatform all opposition from all sources right down to each and every individual. Church, careers, credit, private property, our kids, our dogs, everything. We snoozed and dropped the ball.
Yes but, the suits being filed have nothing to do with criminal matters.
If one of the defendants has been charged with a crime that has some nexus with the same set of facts, plaintiffs’ attorneys can ask the court to take judicial notice of the pending criminal case. It means virtually nothing without a conviction. Criminal convictions can take *years*. The civil suits must be resolved before 12/13.
Thus, DOJ can’t help much.

I don’t see the courts having the stones to reverse the vote on technical non-criminal grounds by throwing out votes based on non-fraud, non-criminal factors such as observers not close enough or disputes over proper timing and postmarks.
The potential for unrest is too real for courts to change the outcome based on such factors
However, If people are ARRESTED for obvious felonies like printing massive numbers of fake ballots or rigging the vote machines, that’s a different story. The courts would develop some courage if that happened, imo
“Preponderance of evidence” is a fair standard.
That “evidence” can be of _many_ different kinds.
Sworn affadavits showing duplicate votes, dead people votes, wrong address votes, out of state votes, nursing home and other vote harvesting, funny looking stacks of ballots all for one candidate with no down-ticket voting, machine votes that don’t tie to paper votes, many mail-in ballots where signatures clearly don’t match the driver’s license signature on file, etc etc etc.
Then you can add on to _that_ the statistical anomalies.
Then you can add on to _that_ evidence that the voting machines (and paper ballots) had no clear chain of custody.
Then you can add on to _that_ a theory as to _how_ the machine cheat was done.
No _one_ piece of evidence gets it done. It is the heavy weight of a wide variety of evidence that makes the case.
I express that I have little faith in the DOJ. They could operate under the law to address this, but they will not.
The military would not be operating under the law. That would be what we would call a low probability event.
The courts are all LIBERAL. And they choose if it goes any further or not.
In PA, they politely asked the governor for an audit prior to certification. His Wolfness didn’t bother to respond to the letter. They were proud to have written it.
Like I said. You and BO just THINK you understand the process going forward as it relates to Article 12 of the Constitution and Certification.
I think the main point is that “our side” thinks the Election was STOLEN. You and BO, showboating, are cheering for the other side at the most critical time in our country’s history and when “our side” needs all hands on deck and yelling/screaming support for TRUMP at the top of their voices.
The GOP legislatures hold the ultimate power over electors. They’d better use it.
