Kyle Rittenhouse’s outspoken attorney John Pierce has not yet applied for permission to represent the teen in Wisconsin.
Pierce, a California-based attorney active on conservative issues, has been acting as the lead defense attorney for Rittenhouse in public statements and in an online campaign to raise money and public support. He also represented Rittenhouse in court in an ultimately unsuccessful fight to block his extradition from Illinois to Kenosha County, where he is facing homicide charges.

Maybe Barnes was right.
Barnes who? About what?
Yeah both Pierce and Wood are bad for Kyle.
Barnes Law on Twitter. Said months ago that Pierce was unqualified to represent in a criminal case and hazard a guess that he was in it just to make money off the kid, his parents via public donations to a generic defense fund. That is, the defense fund is not specific to Kyle. It can be used for anything.
wtf? This kid is probably getting brutalized in jail and he has no representation to get him out on bail or fight this?
Kyle, if you are reading this... God Bless you and stay strong.
You didn’t do anything wrong, and it was very clear that you only defended yourself. You showed incredibly poise for your age.
You will be free, and we are rooting for you!
I hate thinking Kyle is full shackles for defending himself.
Anyone in jail that would try something is a fool. Kyle terminated 2 nasty dogs like nothing, and rendered another one useless. He’s going to be fine in jail, and I’m sure plenty of the guys in jail will be there to protect them. Not everyone in jail is a creep. God is with Kyle, he will be ok.
If so, the Rittenhouses need to find another lawyer.
Don’t worry, the patriots have Kyle’s back.
When the civil war starts, patriots should storm the jail and spring him as one of the first acts.
That has been a plan in my calculating mind. Along with other Rambo type visions.
“God is with Kyle, he will be ok.”
Kyle is a young person full of talents. He is in my prayers daily. Placing him in jail was wrong, and he just needs to be patient until justice is served which might take two years.
Pretty sure I donated to this guy hoping he could raise enough for bail. I want my $ back if it didn’t.
Correction.
Administering justice to dirty judges and prosecutors must come first.
