Toilet paper, disinfectant and groceries are once again flying off the shelves across the United States with states forced to impose stricter lockdowns and the number of new COVID-19 cases spiking to 166,000 Monday.
Pictures taken in recent days show stores in Washington, California, Virginia, Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, Michigan and Missouri have all been affected by the rush. It is the second time this year that shoppers appear to be panic buying; stores were left scrambling to restock shelves wiped out in response to COVID-19 back in March.
But experts say the run is likely to be less severe this time as stores and shoppers are more prepared. Subodha Kumar, a supply chain expert at Temple University, told The Daily Beast: 'People have already hoarded a lot of this stuff in their basements.'

False positives. I saw a chart two days ago, hospitalizations for “covid” are WAY WAY down. Lies and more lies are the only things driving this “pandemic”.

I hope the media panic isn't meant to get people to want Biden as President, that doesn't make any sense, a demented man isn't gonna help anything.
Costco out of tp but HEB had plenty with no limits
Good job, fearpers.

ROFL As long there is no Strawberry Jam shortage
A friend posted the other day of her local Costco (Illinois) which has a sign up that they have NO TP, Paper Towels or Lysol, and don’t know when they will get some.
I have started to maintain a three gallon watering system for my three kitty family and plenty of dry food they can tear into, if the Rapture happens and we’re suddenly gone. Having filled it three times since I started using it, the water lasts approximately two and a half months between fillings. I clean it good before refilling.
My local Walmart (SW Wisconsin) was full to the brim with everything. The meat case was the fullest I’ve seen it in the past 6 months.
I’m well-stocked on everything, and we just got 1/4 beef stashed in the freezer. We’ll probably make it through to the bitter end.

“Rye Whiskey sour with a splash of Scotch for smokiness”
Priorities! Mama Like! :)
“Of course, one probably had to order a Costco sized shipment.”
One of my girlfriends has a husband and eight kids. A woman asked her if she was ‘stocking up’ at the grocery a few weeks ago and she said, “No, a 24 pack of TP lasts us a WEEK, if I’m lucky!” ;)
‘Fortress Around Your Heart’ by Sting has been in my head for MONTHS.
Mother Government HAS built a ‘fortress around my heart’ and if she thinks I’m an easy one to forgive, she is dead WRONG!

I had a few delays with deliveries when we were in the thick of it all, but all in all, I highly recommend them for pet supplies.
And if push came to shove, some of those cat ‘pate’ cans of food would be great on a saltine cracker!

I agree, did you see the video of Canada Justin Trudeau stating that the pandemic was used to usher in a New Economic Reset? I maybe wrong but gut feeling tells me that the Flu was renamed it Covid and like you have stated it is a bio-weapon because I feel the virus was tinkered with making it more potent.
Couple of guys told me about people they knew who died this year. Absolutely NOTHING to do with COVID.
Listed as: “COVID”.
Lies, lies and more lies.
Local WalMart empty TP shelves 2 days in a row.
Yeah...the FF ‘Savory Centers’ beef on a Ritz ROCKS!
EIGHT KIDS!
Yikes!
My father came from a family of ten kids.
FIL was one of nine kids.
Both families, dirt poor farmers.
Two months ago we could hardly give away hand sanitizer. We were palletizing it and putting it in storage. Now we can hardly keep the shelves stocked.
This last is quite correct.
My aunt and uncle in a rural area have privileges at the local city hospital.
All these months they’ve been mystified by the lack of flu cases, much less deaths.
They stated that the hospital is taking th money for the few “cases” they have.
Governors told businesses they can’t have more than 25% of occupancy during lock down.
And then they told the businesses they had to shorten the hours they're open each day which makes absolutely zero sense to me.
During the last lockdown, the Walmart near my house was closing at 8:00 pm.
