Yeah my great grandparents got sent to the showers once. Not going.
How old are these students? If minor, as a parent I would say emphatically NOT.
P.S. Looks like the funky character issues on FR have been fixed, quote marks are showing up correctly for me.
Oh, I see now. They’re university students.
Well I hope they’re not stupid enough to do it.
“This generation of millennials may easily support permanent restrictions on freedom, and permanent surveillance even in our own homes. They live in a state of fear.”
Oh stop it,my grandchildren have traveled, worked outside the home, gone skiing, and socialized and they are in their 20s.
.
Have we gone so far in this country with this mass hysteria that there are idiots who would voluntarily place themselves under surveillance 24-7? This is absolute madness!
Unfortunately; we are at a point where people will relinquish any and all freedoms for the perception of 'safety'.
Ironically; every freedom-killing measure that the left is enthusiastically embracing goes beyond every drastic scenario they claimed would be imposed by President Trump upon winning in 2016.
This is truly beyond the point of no return. America as we knew it is truly gone, and it is our own fault. We rolled over like sheep and simply surrendered our freedoms in exchange for 'protection' by big daddy government. It will take a massive effort over at least a generation to even get halfway back to normal.

True, it's easier for UBER eats to find them if their location is known to all.
It is always a young woman, isn’t it? I live in the country, somewhat near a very small town. Masks are virtually ignored, people sort of wear them sometimes. When I go shopping or visit a restaurant in Carson City or Reno, there is always a young female in a state of panic, handing me a mask, because I always forget to get the stupid mask out of the car. I hope Sydney releases the kraken soon, because I am heartily sick of this nonsense.
