There are those. I keep getting a pop up on my phone to download the CV-19 tracker app to help keep NV safe. Uh, NO! Not as if ‘they’ aren’t tracking you anyway. “Please download the microphone ON app so we can hear you 24/7” Uh, NO!

They wiretap their own houses, make it possible for people to control their cars remotely and place cameras in their bedrooms.

The excuse for today is “covid.” The devices and software will not leave. They can be easily modified for the government’s other purposes.

I can see the left proposing this sort of thing as a permanent feature of society, on the grounds that we must protect against any future virus. We will all be monitored 24/7.
Yes I am afraid so. I have friends and family who are so afraid of COVID, they have isolated themselves up ending their own lives. It is weird because these people are all strangers to each other but sound exactly alike.

We have a mask requirement in Washington State, and have had it for months. (Cases are rising anyway, and a return to a stricter shutdown is coming on Wednesday.)
So when I go into a store, I always have a mask on, but twice I've forgotten to raise it when I went into the store. Both times, almost-panicked young 20-something women IMMEDIATELY directed me to raise it up. This generation of millennials may easily support permanent restrictions on freedom, and permanent surveillance even in our own homes. They live in a state of fear.
