Just got back from there, what a beautiful sight. Sorry that I missed POTUS. I don’t know what it’s like where everyone else here lives, but in DC, people are like Mr. Spock on acid - everyone is out of their Vulcan minds. Walked down from Woodley Park, 99.8% of everyone had masks on outside. At the rally, maybe 15%. Was so nice to see some sanity.
Whatever happens, MAGA is not going away. I pity the fools like Romney who think they can go back to the way things were. Conservative, Inc. is dead.
I’m in Bethesda, even worse. I saw a woman alone IN THE RAIN walking her dog and both she AND HER DOG were wearing masks.
How was the crowd where you were? Were there opposing groups?
