Excellent analysis. But as I recall, when a Fox first started, its production wasn’t exactly first rate. I remember tuning in and thinking that it looked like a high school produced daily news show. Give the upstarts time, I suspect that they will catch up. Especially with the increase in eyeballs,
As for the advertisers shying away, in this age of a COVID crushed economy, I am willing to bet that they won’t be able to stay away from the eyeballs for very long.
foxnews is now on my ever growing list of leftist companies to not support.

It’s not so much the “abandoning their base” part that bothers me. It’s the intentionally joining in on the mainstream media and Big Tech effort to sabotage the President that i view as unforgivable if not outright criminal.
In my opinion we need to support a media company owned by a true conservative patriot. I don’t know much about Newsmax in that regard, but i believe One America News fits that bill and that’s who i hope emerges in the aftermath of the Fall of Fox.
Tucker Carlson and Greg Gutfeld, plus a couple more, need to move over to Newsmax TV or OAN SO I don’t have to hold my nose and visit Fox Snooze at all anymore.

No one who wants to fix this gigantic problem is watching Fox. They’ll go elsewhere for inspiration and updates. They will continue to figure out how to not depend on the news media. They will never go back to Fox. Anyone else is a Fox hater. They’ll never tune in. Young people don’t get TV. Did Fox intend to self destruct?
The old western was ‘Butch Cassidy...”, infatuated portrayal of a couple of very bad guys. The story’s over half way through, when they jump off the cliff. This was more pertinent than anything Fox was trying to dish out and safer to my morale than any of they’re ever twenty minute dose of brainwashing.
I agree with Rush. Fox will pay a huge price for turning on it base.

As it happens I regularly buy media and consult on media buys.
Surely most folks on this thread know, but Fox News ratings have plummeted in recent weeks.

In 2016 when Trump was winning across the nation and drawing huge crowds to his rallies, Cavuto showed his true colors and became and early Anti Trumper.
I pulled the plug on his show and moved on without his anti Trump B$!
That was one of the best actions in my life.
