Wayne County Judge Timothy Kenny rejected a lawsuit seeking to halt Detroit election results from being certified.
MICHIGAN — A Wayne County judge has rejected a lawsuit aiming to stop the certification of Detroit-area election results.
Wayne County Judge Timothy Kenny on Friday rejected the lawsuit, which in part took issue with the city's handling of absentee ballots.
"Plaintiff's interpretation of events is incorrect and not credible," Kenny wrote in his ruling.
Kenny said that numerous affidavits from election challengers "paint a picture of sinister fraudulent activities occurring both openly in the TCF Center and under the cloak of darkness." But those claims are contradicted by highly-respected former state elections director Christopher Thomas, who spent hours at the center and presented different accounts.
"Perhaps if Plaintiff's election challenger affiants had attended the October 29, 2020, walk-through of the TCF Center ballot counting location, questions and concerns could have been answered in advance of Election Day," the judge said in his ruling.
Democratic President-Elect Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump by 146,000 votes in Michigan during the general election, according to unofficial election results. Michigan counties and the state Board of Canvassers have yet to certify the election results, however.
Friday's ruling marks the third time that a judge has declined intervening in the process to confirm election results in Michigan. Other lawsuits filed by Trump's campaign sought to stop the counting of ballots and asked for challengers to have additional access to ballot processing.
The lawsuit rejected on Friday claimed Republican challengers were removed from the TCF Center in Detroit while absentee ballots were being processed. It also claimed ballots were backdated and that signatures on ballot envelopes were not verified.
Election officials have said they allowed the maximum number of poll watchers for both political parties, with the only restrictions being put in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In interviews with workers at the TCF Center in Detroit, where ballots were counted, election officials told Patch off few irregularities, instead noting only "aggressive" and uninformed challengers.

What on earth do you think is going on? That is is just another “boys will be boys” event, and that it is no different than what has been going on in the past?
Do you even listen to or watch what these people do?
Do you think they won’t destroy the meaning of the law and the rule of law as they have done by supporting the rioting?
Do you think they won’t emasculate Law Enforcement?
Do you think they wont go further in the censorship and persecution of those who disagree with them using the full power of the government and the media?
Do you think they won’t pack the courts?
Do you think they won’t attempt to eliminate the electoral college?
Do you think they won’t push for DC and Puerto Rican Statehood?
For too long, so many of us have heard the words coming from the mouths of Leftists, and thought it was hot air. Look what they have done in the last 12 years.
You think what happened to Trump and his administration, the illegal surveillance, persecution, and impeachment was nothing?
I have news for you if you haven’t thought it out: What does not get punished is allowed.
And this election is an even worse scandal that Spygate, which up until this election, was the biggest scandal in the history of this country.
I am happy for you if you wish to calm down, I am sure for YOU, that “life will go on either way”. I am happy to hear that.
But don’t tell me to calm down. This is happening on my watch. You say it isn’t yours, fine. But this is mine. I love my country and am grateful to it for what it has provided. I owe it to every American who has lived before me to make their work and sacrifice worthwhile, and I am not going to “calm down” and allow it to be destroyed.
If you want your life to go on “either way”, you do it.
Just don’t get in the way of the rest of us doing what has to be done. Just stay the hell out of the way.

SOP for a lower court to punt the ball when they know that whichever way they rule, it will get appealed. No worries, PDJT needed this to get up to precedential MI supreme court anyway (and go after the unconstitutional late ballot issue and that there is no way to accurately recount them now)
It’s not the state legislatures.
It’s the Republican state caucuses who votes for each state within the house.
Each state of the 50 get one vote and there are about 30 versus 20. These are there already..in the event of 25/25 tie pence is it.

I’m simply a realist. And the R PA Senate Leader (IIRC) already said “it (PA Legislature voting to send their own electors) will NEVER happen”.
The phrase “improve the election day experience” in practice means remove any obstacle or inconvenience that might counter fraud in favor of letting whoever vote as much as they want.
If I’m not mistaken, what you’re describing only happens if the election gets sent to the House to decide.

Another Fn corrupt so called judge taking the word of one idividual over many affidavits of others. Nobody will be able to protect these corrupt people when a civil war starts. Their corruption will be a big part of why we have one.
The ruling will not stand.
And if those ballots are NOT audited, it provides MORE reason for the state legislature to NOT certify the electors.
More likely to happen is that the PA legislature sends NO electors.
There was video where they made our watchers and workers leave due to covid capacity numbers reached. Our people on video said so, bring 10 dems out and let 10 Repubs in? The head guy at TCF said no, no comment. Every request made by our people, was met with no, no comment, etc. Then, 6ft distancing so you can’t see even though the rules permit you to get close to do your job then step back. Then, moving machines farther back in building out of sight, boarding up windows.
I guess the walk through would of shown what was going to happen on election day eh?
The walk through would have shown how prepared they were to cheat.
